OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD I DIDN’T NOTICE.  They wouldn’t.  Would they?  Some kind of accident at the shop? BUT BUT BUT.

Maybe it’s just that Mike isn’t that great with the detail of the choreography and it’s a fist, and not an injury.  MAYBE.

You know what would be hilarious?  If New York doesn’t happen.  If none of them end up in NY next year.  Burt hurts himself so Kurt defers for a year and he and Finn stay behind (and also, in Finn’s case because the Actors Studio laughed at his application because please).  Rachel doesn’t get a place at NYADA in the end but will audition again next year.  It solves a lot of split narrative problems, logistical issues, etc.
